We needed our sewer and water lines replaced due to multiple root problems in the original sewer line. Dawson was great about giving us our options and letting us know the costs upfront. They seemed to do a thorough job of connecting the system to our home and the city’s sewer line. The crew did a nice job of smoothing out the dirt from the excavation of our lawn. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

Customer stated that sewer ejection pump in basement was tripping breaker. Gave customer option of pulling pump and inspecting it. Customer agreed so went ahead and pulled pump. Once pump was pulled, found that there was no weep hole drilled and also that motor on pump was really hard to turn. Recommended to customer pump replaced and customer agreed. Furnish and installed new sewer ejection pump with new check valve. Tested and at this time pump was working as it should. Cleaned up work area.
Replaced two hose bibs and line with two new shut valves
Trench from water meter to home. Install new 1in uponor pex water line. Inside home install new Prv and main house shut off valve. Also for laboratory faucet install 2 new service valves with supply lines. Water service line has a transferable 5 year warranty against material defect and workmanship.
Customer approved estimate for water service replacement and collected a 25% deposit fee that is nonrefundable. Will return tomorrow to do work.

Customer had around a four year old tankless unit that has been regularly serviced every July. Flushed tankless flush solution through the unit for 45 minutes and cleaned the screens. After flush turned the unit back on, flushed excess cleaning agent, and put the caps back and opened the valves. Visually inspected to ensure there were no obvious leaks. None were found.
Came out for kitchen draining leaking into crawlspace. We had rerouted drain down through cabinet some time ago, this was not the issue. PVC was tied in to an old cast iron line that had rotted through into the crawlspace. Terracotta section outside that was riddled with roots. Replaced line inside crawlspace and drilled new penetration through foundation wall. Trenched from house down to sewer line and routed line down to the sewer with cleanout access in the exterior of the home. Tested to ensure a leak free installation before back filling.
Upon arrival customer stated that the garage disposal was not working. While I was looking over the disposal I pressed the reset button and the garbage disposal started to work. I left estimates for customer supplied and Chen supplied garbage disposal. Informed customer if it keeps happening that it is time to replace it. Garbage disposal is working properly.
Camera’d line and gave quote to replace drain from crawlspace to service line outside. Coming back Tuesday to replace. Kept getting whiffs of gas in crawlspace. Very small amounts. Black iron is heavily rusted. Gave quote to replace gas piping.

Customer had an appliance company out the day before they could not complete the install of a new refrigerator due to not having a shut off behind the refrigerator. Installed a needle valve on existing quarter inch soft copper line coming through the floor. Tested work to ensure proper function, and no leaks. Existing refrigerator is unplugged did not reconnect the refrigerator line fully to the new stop for easier install.
Customer had rocking toilet. Pulled the toilet and found a crack in the flange (picture attached). Replaced the flange with an ID gasket flange. Mounted with four points of contact and brought it up to the proper level. Seated the existing toilet properly and tested with around 10 flushes with and without paper to ensure a proper flush. Reconnected the water line and ensure no leak at base. Customer wanted to flush gas, tank styler water heater. Due to the age of the heater this isn’t recommended and replacement is necessary due to the age. Quite attached to replace.
Found vent for the gas water heater had no screws on the vent hood. The vent had become disconnected. Reinstalled vent and installed 3 screws and vent tape.
Upon arrival customer wanted main drain scoped. Informed customer we would have pull the toilet in order to run the camera. Gave customer estimate to pull and reset toilet and run the camera. Customer approved estimate. I pulled the toilet and ran the camera out 60 foot. Took a video showing the condition of the sewer line. Installed new wax ring when resetting the toilet and test the toilet with no leaks.
For this job, I worked on installing a new pressure regulator valve and new 3/4 shut off vlave 1/4 turn.
